Styling one top three ways

You can’t go wrong with stripes. They’re such a timeless pattern, and today we’re showing how a single striped top can be styled three ways to create three totally different looks (talk about versatile!):

Dress it up.

Wear this shirt with an A-line or pencil skirt in a solid shade, and you’re halfway to an outfit perfect for church or a night on the town. Add a beautiful long necklace (or a floral scarf), tights, and heels, and you’re good to go!

Take it outside.

Try an outdoorsy look by matching up a striped tee, distressed jeans, your favorite boots, and a puffy vest. For a more pulled-together look, zip up the vest. For a more casual look that shows off the stripes underneath, leave it unzipped.

Go casual.

Use a striped long sleeve as a true layering piece. Wear it underneath your favorite graphic tees to keep you warm this winter. With jeans or joggers, it’s a casual look made more interesting by introducing a pattern.

Of course, stripes can be even more versatile if you buy them in neutral shades (think black, white, gray, or tan). But remember, olive and burgundy are chameleon shades too and look good with lots of other colors. Now stock up on those tees—we know they’ll stretch your wardrobe without stretching your pocketbook.
